Concept
A contemporary coastal living center that combines the energy of the city with water, on the edge of nature.
The Şirinkıyı Project, designed by Korucuoğlu Architecture in 2025 along the coastline of Samarkand, is a multifaceted coastal destination offering a blend of social life, commerce, entertainment, and cultural activities. By integrating the unique natural waterfront landscape with contemporary architecture, the project aims to provide visitors with a dynamic and peaceful living experience.
The pedestrian-focused coastal promenade, with its cafes, restaurants, boutique shops, and outdoor event spaces, creates a constantly vibrant social flow. Wooden piers along the shore, observation decks touching the water, and landscaping invite users to interact directly with the water. The Ferris wheel, a focal point of the project, serves as both a symbolic landmark and offers a wide-ranging view of the city and the surrounding landscape.
The architectural language utilizes fluid forms, white tones, and expansive glass surfaces to create a modern and light aesthetic. Vibrant design details such as red awnings and colorful shades stand out as dynamic elements that add character to the space. Open-air squares provide flexible use for cultural events and concerts, while: Playgrounds, walking paths, and recreational areas create a living scenario that appeals to users of all ages.
With its waterfront location, architectural integrity, social functions, and rich public spaces, the Şirinkıyı Project creates a new center of attraction on Samarkand's coastline, building a strong bridge between nature, culture, and modern living.
