Akyurt Youth Center

Designed on a 13,000 m² site within Akyurt's growing urban fabric, the youth center offers a social focal point for the area and stands out with its contemporary architectural approach. The curved metal shell that forms the building's main form brings the dynamic nature of the interior spaces to the outside, while micro-perforated panels on the façade ensure light transmission. These panels also add a digital pixel effect to the building's surface. The glass façade rising along the main entrance hall opens the building's internal workings to the outside, creating an inviting presence for residents. The youth center's gym, library, and social spaces are planned to suit the user profile and create strong visual connections with the open spaces. The project reinforces the local government's mission of strengthening social unity through contemporary architecture.
