Concept
A new generation interpretation of urban life that combines the elegance of high-rise buildings with the serenity of the horizontal texture.
Dreamcity Was designed as a concept project in 2020 by Korucuoglu Architecture, spanning an expansive 320,000 m² and serving as a contemporary response to Tashkent's dynamic growth trajectory. The project offers a smooth transition from urban to human scale, with a planning approach that balances vertical and horizontal construction.
High-rise tower blocks create a modern rhythm with glass and red facade panels, while social platforms built on low-rise bases with green roofs offer residents an urban experience intertwined with nature. The building's formal language creates a strong perspective effect through the balanced use of vertical and horizontal lines, while the play of color on the façades reinforces spatial diversity.
The open street and landscape axis that form the central spine of the project combines commercial units, water features, seating areas, and walking paths, creating a vibrant urban open space atmosphere. Squares, small pavilions, and recreational areas along this spine offer residents a balanced and breathable environment.
The material language is shaped by the contrasting combination of glass, metal, and colored composite panels, common in contemporary architecture. The transparency of the structures allows daylight to penetrate deeply into the interior spaces, while nighttime illuminations contribute significantly to the urban skyline.
The relationship established with the city embraces a holistic approach that encompasses not only physical but also social and ecological layers. Dreamcity is designed not only as a living space but also as a "living ecosystem" that hosts new-generation urban living practices.
