Concept
A manifesto of life rising between the sea and the urban fabric in the center of Izmir: Folkart Karma Towers.
This project, which redefines the city's panoramic skyline, is not merely a single structure but also a confluence of multi-layered urban experiences.
Spanning an impressive 220,000 m², the project features residential, office, and commercial units designed within a fluid whole. Social spaces and spacious urban voids located on the lower level offer its users not only a functional environment but also a highly interactive environment.
Designed with two distinct tower masses, the building achieves a distinctive identity through the distinctive geometric language and rhythmic voids on the façade. Despite the vertical emphasis of the height, the horizontally extending plinth volume establishes a strong ground connection with the city, maintaining a sense of street scale.
Terraces oriented towards the view, open space uses, and inter-story mobility transform the project into more than just an architectural mass; it is a living organism. This view, opening onto the Gulf of Izmir, offers not only a viewing experience but also a breathing space within the realm of life.
Throughout the design process, a delicate harmony was maintained between structural balance and aesthetic identity. Contributing to the language of modern urbanization, the building is an architectural signature for the future of Izmir with the connection it establishes with its environment and the urban vision it proposes.
