Limak Nenehatun – Area of Influence Shaped with Modern Lines
Rising in Çankaya, Limak Nenehatun is not just a building; its relationship with the urban fabric, its unique façade, and its contemporary architectural style bring a visionary perspective to its surroundings. This special building, whose design, 3D visualization, and technical project work were completed in 2016, offers aesthetic and functional solutions to the needs of modern working life with a total office space of 12,000 m².
The building's most striking architectural element is undoubtedly its perforated metal façade. Enriched with circular patterns, this exterior shell filters daylight and provides controlled illumination to the interior spaces. In the evening, the light rising from the interior transforms the building into a light sculpture. This elegant transparency of the façade allows the building to acquire a character that lives between day and night.
The diagonally curved glass surface used in the massing form not only creates visual dynamism; it also makes the relationship with the city more open and intimate. This slope, combined with the wooden textures along the main axes of the building, imbues the building with warmth and sophisticated elegance. The façade design aims to convey both a timeless aesthetic and an innovative face.
The transparent entrance hall on the ground floor clearly demonstrates Limak Nenehatun's corporate stance and professional approach. Opening onto the urban fabric, this space welcomes users with an inviting atmosphere, combining the principles of openness, accessibility, and integrity.
The landscape design complements the architectural language. The linear water feature and hardscape arrangements at the entrance level create transitional spaces that connect nature and architecture. These spaces become experiential spaces where users can establish physical contact with the building.
With its high design quality, strong architectural language, and organic connection to the city, Limak Nenehatun stands out against the conventionality of office buildings. It successfully embodies functionality not only in its interior organization but also in its relationship with the exterior shell, landscape, and context. The project takes its place in Ankara's urban memory as a striking and memorable structure that perfectly reflects Limak's vision and the importance it places on architectural quality.
