Limak Office – Influence Area Shaped with Modern Lines
Designed in 2016 in the Çankaya district of Ankara, the Limak Office building responds to the contemporary office landscape by combining the concepts of functionality, transparency, and prestige. Rising on a total area of 12,000 m², this structure embodies a perspective that prioritizes both technological aesthetics and user comfort in its architectural language.
The building's architectural form offers views of the city from different perspectives thanks to the façade modulation shaped by angles along the main entrance axis. The interior-exterior relationship is strengthened by the glass surfaces reflecting the corporate identity. Horizontal lines emphasize the building's longitudinal structure, while colored glass panels incorporated into the façade create an energetic atmosphere and, by interacting with daylight, give the building a dynamic rhythm.
Bridge crossings designed between the two blocks opening onto the inner courtyard not only support horizontal circulation but also create breathtaking spaces that enhance the office workers' connection to daylight. The interior courtyard along the glass façade was designed in conjunction with the landscape, adding a spacious intermediate layer to office life. Thus, the building offers not only a functional office block but also a work environment that supports its users and enhances their quality of life.
In nighttime renderings, the lighting used on the lower level combines with the reflective surfaces on the façade, transforming the building into an impressive silhouette. The reflections on the façade panels, which turn golden in daylight, take on a warm effect that deepens with artificial light in the evening. This allows the building to take on two distinct architectural personas, day and night.
The Limak Office project is a simple yet characterful example of contemporary architecture, prioritizing the user experience, often overlooked in office buildings, and supporting its visual and functional connection with the context through a strong design.
