Maputo Hotel

Adding a new icon to Maputo's skyline on Mozambique's coastline, this hotel project establishes a seamless dialogue with the city and nature with its elegant tower design rising on a 32,000 m² site. Positioned parallel to the shore, the building is designed to maximize sea views on all facades, creating panoramic living spaces on each floor. The use of diagonal structural elements on the exterior facades not only provides structural strength but also provides an iconic character. Beginning with a public café, restaurant, and open spaces on the ground floor, the program continues to the upper levels with luxury hotel rooms, spa areas, and special functions such as a rooftop lounge. The design embraces a design sensitive to the local climate and cultural fabric, featuring wood cladding, glass surfaces, and tropical plantings. The project, nestled within the coastal lifestyle and aiming to become a center of attraction for both locals and international users, is a prestigious new focal point for Maputo.
