Concept
A bold signature on the city silhouette, the dance of geometry with dynamics.
The Mia Kayakent Project, rising on a 37,000 m² site in Altındağ, Ankara, offers a design approach that defines the urban landscape of the future from the present. The project establishes a strong spatial hierarchy, both horizontally and vertically, through the layered relationship between the ground floor and the tower. The base area, housing commercial spaces, encourages public interaction with its transparent façades and wide eaves, while the tower form balances curvaceous and sharp lines, leaving a lasting impression in the architectural memory.
The dark reflective glass surfaces used on the façade give the building an ever-changing character with a dynamic reflection of the sky. The white exterior frame accentuates the structural elements, further enhancing the building's silhouette. This frame provides not only a visual impact but also a directional route for the tower mass.
In the urban context, the project adopts a positioning that respects the green landscape and is located at a strategic intersection for vehicular and pedestrian access. Its visibility from four facades and gradual rise reinforce its claim to be the region's new landmark.
Mia Kayakent is not just a building; it is an urban figure that connects with its surroundings, speaks to the city, and gains value over time.
